Progress and cheap part that works auto console

Retro early console to later console. carpet added with 3 m sticky tape. Found cheap console selector light. Addition of wood grain. Bondo in gap with glazing. Here’s some pics. Light socket came from orilies $5 bucks.

Looks good. I got a black trash barrel at the dollar tree and cut out and drilled hole for the slide piece the shifter handle goes thru that I was missing on my auto console..
Also sprayed with ecthing primer and silver metallic from HD. on my 4spd console.
