Hello, here is little project from North Finland, near Artic Circle.

I just started again my old project, mixing '67 and '68 valiants. Ant will be 2 door when its ready. I will show later picture how bad Valiant was when I started. My friend try find a picture. Red '67 4d was very, very rusty and white '68 2d was crushed badly at wreckyard.

I chance roof from 4d.

It takes 5h/day to chance roof = 20 hours.
Now its better than when its started. Front window opening was 6mm (1/4'') lower on the driver side from factory.

I've seen the English language typed preety badly here by, LOL, Americans who were schooled here in the language. LOL

'67 Barracuda notchback is my friends car. Original sb+4speed finnish car, exported 1967. Its waiting 440 to rebuild bigger and stronger. 440+ and 4speed and Dana 60. Running next summer. He promised that.
 
Rallye instrument panel did get new "crome" from tincan. Spray was costing 8€ (~6 Usd).

There were no wires any more behind that.

Rallye cluster was form '70 340 Dart (still have ID-plate on). I find whole instrument panel from wreckyard. It was just missing some electricswitches.

Spindles are from '76 Aspen.

Red primer is just spray, because it start heavy raining for 3 days.
Epoxyprimer will sprayed later.

Waiting bushings to lower control arms and strut rods.

I looked at pics, cannot read a thing it says on the page, but looking great! Lol

i too, just used that imatation chrome paint on a rally dash, ans it just sold on ebay for 1,100.00. Alot of work went ito it though over 80 hrs.
 
So you are chopping / lowering the roof? If so, what are you going to do with the back glass?

Good question!

Ever notice that most cars that get chopped have flat glass?

The windshield is laminated but it can be cut down.
 
Not chopping, i want 2d and originalroof was busted. So i change roof from 4d. Here when people chop roof, they move ancle of hole back window frame. Also roof when chopped, c-post upper point come forward. So you can use original window.

Also here Finland is 2 companies, which make windows. Original and customs. 10 years ago new original Valiant '65 front window with Green sun-topstripe, was about 800 Mk, ~130 € = 170-180$. Now muybe +50€?

Custom front windows 500$ and up.

I am not sure todays prices. Like all new windows to 2005 Mustang ~2000$.
