Projection TV question

I just recieved a Sony 57" projection tv from a family friend. When you first turn it on the picture(color) is fine but, after a about 20 to 30 seconds it gets a blue hue to it. We've tried adjusting the settings but, no go. Anybody know anything about these? The only $ I have in it is gas going to get it so if it is a cheap fix I'll anty up. If it needs much it's gone. Let me know Mike.

It is the tubes in the back of the tv. A repair guy can fix it, should be cheap if I remember correctly

First of all, is it a newer type of projection screen, i.e. an HD 16:9 screen that is either DLP rear Projection, LCD rear Projection, or LED rear projection?

Is it an old fashioned type of projection 4:3 screen?

Could be the bulbs and they could be pricy. I think there are 3 bulbs in them, red blue green something like that. You've checked the convergance??
