Just been informed about Prostock Hemi Dusters.

How many are there still running, either real ones or clones?
We are going to build a 72(ish) Prostock hemi Duster Sox and Martin tribute car.

I guess its a pretty open class, dana 60, four speed and a hemi.
Original frame rails no altered wheelbase?

Or can we just do our own thing as long as it looks and drives OK!
Best wishes from the UK.

'Spinks and Hatchard' in case you was wondering what will be written on the sides...
Almost the same colour scheme, as its awesome some 50 years later!

I love the early 70s pro stock cars.
I'm building a 70 dart pro stock replica.
I'm not copying anyone's paint scheme but the outside will be semi period correct besides the wheels, big direct connection Mopar p/s scoop, s/s rear wheel arches, wedge with a tunnel ram.
Good luck finding information, it's more available than finding 70 dart stuff.

heres some original frame rales I channeled and rewelded for 6 inches narrower lol.

Nice replies Guys!

I guess its rare stuff now so its ''do your own thing''.
Dusters are the only cars you can afford to 'cut-up' these days!

Everything else from that ear is telephone numbers...:BangHead:

Yep, just do it how you like it.

Hard to find a clean Duster to cut up, unless you want to drive across the country.

Already got the Duster, it was cut-up in the 80's as a racecar and left for dead.
My Moparmate found it and said, Sox and Martin ( Superstock) actually Prostock?

By a strange coincidence I had a 1972 Sox and Martin hemi block/crank and heads.
He's got a dana 60 and a hemi four speed trans so we is good to go.

Got a rotisserie and some good Mopar knowledge too.
Easier ''said than done'' we know lol...:BangHead::rofl:
He wanted to race his Charger but I talked him out of it...:usflag:
Lets do a Prostck Duster instead a lot less valuable...

Not yet Brian.
The Charger is going away for paint this week.
Then its a quick job or two on my mates 512ci 1965 Polara.
A 1966 402ci Poly Coronet is going on the frame next.
So the Duster will be coming soon I hope.
Best wishes from sunny England.

Not an A-body but a very nice B-body!
