I have a Federal powerm steering pump, and it seems to leak between the two halves, which leads me to beleive the O-ring is bad. I saw YR1 and Paddock do not offer these O rings, they do offer Saginaw pumps. Does anyone know where I can get the large O-ring?
Thanks,
Eric

Carquest autoparts stores had seal kits for the various pumps once upon a time. I'd try ORielly, NAPA, all of them.

I think rockauto.com my have the kits too, i know they sell a recond pump, and firm feel can rebuild it oo.

If you go to saginaw you nede to change brackets most likely and then maybe even pulleys too since the belt offset may be off.

On a positive side the fedal pumps are 2 stage and have vavling that at higer RPMs puts les pressure to the box. You your steering wont get to mushy.

I would stay federal if i were you.
