Hi all my heater core took a crap and Ive grown this new obsession with clean engine bays. So my mission is to pull the heater box along with the pipes sticking out of the firewall. I will be welding a plate over the blower motor, and going for the clean shaven look while attempting to hide all wiring. I know some people say they have pulled the dash without pulling the windshield, most people say its impossible. So Im looking for another way around this. Any help or ideas?

You don't need to pull the dash to remove the heater assembly. Just remove the mounting nuts on the motor ring under the hood, the heater hoses and there is a hook in the left air box(vent) you will need to unhook. Also there will be cables going to the heater control that will need to be unhooked and duct work.

I agree! You can also take the end of the heater box, cut off the air vent, install a plate or something to hold a flat surface, so you can glass it up nice to make your own vent box. Works great.
