I think that depends on whether it has a console shift or dash operated pushbuttons. I have only had one car that was true pushbutton, and it was a 64 Belvedere. It was on the dash and the cables went down through a grommeted hole in the firewall near where the speedo cable and ebrake cable went through. Not sure on A bodies though!! geof
what are ya working on?? the floor shift 65 dart and 65 cuda, the cables go thru the tranny tunnel right there near the shifter.
the pushbutton 63 and 4 darts, the cables go thru the oblong rubber grommet like he says.
the car was not a pushbutton, so I don't have oblong grommets...so I need to make my own holes, so I need a estimate of the right spot to bring them through.... do you have a pushbutton?
no...now it is an Imperial Services augmented push button shifter car... Im using a 71 904 with a customized 64 pushbutton shifter...just looking for the correct way to route cable
