I have a 1971 duster with a 360 from a 91 or 90 truck. It has a hyd roller cam and i recently bought some adjustable rockers. I now need new pushrods cause of the ball adjust on the rockers. What are the various lengths of them and which one's do I need?

Or go to your Toyota dealer? {Oops ;) Mopar Dealer and buy a Mopar Performance small block book?}

Is the engine a "Magnum" one,what adjustable parts are you using?

It sounds like you have a Non-magnum, and put 273 adjustable rockers on,
if this is so, and the roller cam used the "normal" length pushrods;
[which you will need to measure to find out,] Summit makes some pushrods.

but, if your heads or block were milled much, then you should triple check stuff.
Comp Cams is much smarter than I am, and they have Free help;
I am only a smart a$$ "moron".

The best way for you to know is to get a couple of checking pushrods, and measure the length. That way you can account for any milling, and get the rockers' geometry on too. Then you just order what ever ones will work for you.

I think if you get a checking pushrod that will cover the 7.500" range you should be able to determine what exact length you need for ball and cup pushrods. Mancini racing has the checking pushrods.

its a non magnum and I bought some proform rockers and shafts that are aluminium. I don't think that the 360 could use 273 pushrods due to the tall hyd roller lifters. All my mopar books don't go to 1990 motors. I was just curious if someone knew or has been down the same road

I am toying with the same project I have found that with CAT 1.6 rockers they won't fit sometimes right out of the box on a 318 GET A PUSHROD LENGTH CHECKER before you waste any money like I did getting it all in one kit every thing from shaft thickness to spring diameter will affect the install and the tears to follow with mistakes :book:

As BJR said, if you know the cam type, head type, and year, you should be able to call any good manufacturer and they can tell you what length you should need. I like to measure because then if things are milled, or thinner/thicker gaskets are used, etc., it's all taken into account. Then you just call and say "I need X length with ball and ball" or "ball and socket".

Yeah you'll have to check the length and order a set......if you are gonna run it hard call Smith Bros or Manton......if it's a street cruiser and you think you could put them together yourself I think Mancini has a cut to fit kit. You cut them to length and press the one end on.
