I am thinking of buying some HUG 1506S-16 which is 1.6 rockers.
what do you use or a good push rod for this setup?

i have got some New RHS heads and a Lunati's Voodoo series of Hydraulic camshafts valve are 1.92/1.60's
  • Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 284/292
  • Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 242/252
  • Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .533/.552
  • LSA/ICL: 110/106
  • Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd
  • RPM Range: 2500-6600
The engine is a 340 storked to a 416 still in the buliding stage or planing stage. so what does every body use like what ever..and size.

I think stock grade pushrods wouldnt fail with your build, but I would rather bend a pushrod than break a rocker. Manton pushrods are top shelf. Good insurance is a lifter valley plate. Keeps lifters in the bores and keeps oil sling to the intake minimal.

get a length checker, buy the right parts,we aren't working on small block chevies here

and buy the girdle for the top i just Brock my rocker stud this morning and i am running hugs stuff hope this helps.

Get some 5/16 .083 or .095 wall pushrods.

Manton is what I use almost exclusively. http://www.mantonpushrods.com/

Smith Bros is another good outfit.

If you are running the LA shaft system, get a pushrod checker.
