I have a 68 fastback. I had my car redone body wise and over the past few months I've been getting everything back on the car. When it came to putting the tail lights back in ,the right side the bezel sticks out past the side of the quarter panel by 5/16". The quarter panel was replaced when the car was redone. The guy that did the car said he needs to see the car and that it's probably because it was an aftermarket quarter panel. I don't buy that BS I think he put it on wrong and didn't test fit the bezel.I figured I would ask you guy before he sees it .Is there any simlpe solution. Thanks for any help:angryfir::angryfir::angryfir:

Did he take it apart? Because if he did and it don't go back together right, he gets to do it over.

There ain't no easy way, unless maybe you had the bezels mixed up or upside down or otherwise not putting it back the way it is supposed to fit. I can't imagine with a 5/16" gap that the trunk lid, bumper and tail panel section would have fit "just right".
Here's hoping that it is something like that for you,
C
