I got the quarter window glass mounted on my '72 Swinger today. The right side was a breeze. The left regulator was bent just enough that the glass hit the lip of the quarter, so I ended up removing it, straightening the bent arms, and reinstalling. THAT was fun. :realcrazy:

Anyhow, there needs to be a vertical seal between the door glass and the quarter glass.
The rear of the door glass has a chrome strip with a thinner tab to the rear.
I'm assuming these are what I need:
1972 Dodge Dart Parts | MD1610 | 1966-72 Mopar A & B-Body Quarter Window Glass Vertical Seal | Classic Industries

I can't tell from the low-res pic, do they slip over the tab on the door glass rear trim, or do I need to use adhesive?

thanks.

When you remove this weatherstrip from the stainless mldg, you will see that the space left is rather "L" shaped. While the new W/S fits rather nicely into it, you need to use trim adhesive to lock into place.

Thanks. I just now went out to the garage and identified the molding pieces that go on the leading edge of the quarter glasses. Always wondered what those were for ;)

The weatherstrips are in good condition so I'm inclined to leave them alone for now :)

On to the next "where does this piece of trim go"?
