there's a company local to me that makes custom billet wheel adapters. I had shot them a picture of what I had designed up for the rear of my duster to convert it from 5x4 to 5x4.5. the design is hubcentric to the car and hubcentric to the wheel. the price per pair comes down significantly with quantity. I was curious if it's ok to post in the forums to gauge interest and potentially organize a group buy on an item like this....

And if you get a bunch of interest, you will most likely going to need more private message space.....

It's a helpful service to the members so it'll probably get zapped, we have some excessively post-zap-happy mods around here, to a very aggravating point....

Thanks for that. Also, how many 'group buys' have you been a part of? The majority of them never materialize.....

Huh? So if I contact National Moparts and work a deal with Nigel to buy 12 of something for myself and 11 members, I have to "clear" it thru you 1st?? Don't think so, maybe you misunderstood.
there isnt a policy -- I deal with them on case by case basis. Message me directly

Well, if you have something in the works, check with the 'owner' of the site and see what he has to say about it. What's so difficult about that?

Its not that. Its more about making sure there aren't people spamming our forum with BS group buys.
