Got a 5.9 magnum, year is 2000 I believe. My goal is to have a billet serpentine setup...all of the billet pulleys I've seen are under drive for the crank and water pump, and I found one kit that at least has a standard alternator pulley size.
So issue #1 is: Under driving the crank and water pump, will I have an issue with cooling? The plan for the radiator is a 3 core aluminum, or at least a larger than stock 2 core aluminum.
Issue #2 is: All of the water pumps for later model magnums have a pressed on pulley, can I just use a water pump from an earlier magnum such as the one below? And then bolt on the pulley of my choice, also below...
Issue #3, the pulley set linked to below states normal Magnum, but the description states LA. But the water pump pulley looks like the shorter magnum style. Am I missing something?
Issue #4: Under Applications of the pulley set, the description states clockwise rotation. I was under the impression all magnums in stock form were counterclockwise...what am I missing?
