I'm in search of a new clutch. I saw that Centerforce DF was the way to go, I had one on my 5.0 Mustang, and wasn't really happy with it. I was looking at the McLeod clutches, since B&M got out of their business, was wondering what I needed to run the larger 10.95 clutch. I know its intended for the 10.5 flywheel, but does it require a scatter shield or any clearancing of the ball housing? I currently have an Iron bell.

hi, the 10.95 will bolt to the10.5 pattern, they are a scalloped hat style. get the B&B/long pressure plate. it's way better over a regular B&B . the finger ratios are better. also, you can add c/w to fingers if so desired. best bet, call them. it will clear the bellhousing.

You may have to clearance the inside starter boss where the starter snout goes in. Mock it up first, it's not much.

Cool, thanks guys. Looking at McLeod's site, the 10.95 pressure plate is a diaphragm style, which I'd prefer.

they should also have it in the other styles .

B+M really screwed things up and deleted alot of their line before they got out .

I ran a Centerforce DF with no problem. I've been told by Mopar gurus that the McLeod B&B Long style clutch is the way to go. The last time I priced one out it was not cheap.

Ordered a custom McLeod B&B Long style 10.95 for the 1966 Formula S. They dropped the pressure and sent it out. Price was not bad at all. Great to work with. I have'nt installed it yet. I'm still hoping to get a 10.00 clutch to work behind the 273. Give them a call and tell them what you are doing and get a price.
