Questions about thermoquads and oil pans

I can get a thermoquad I saw on a 77 dodge dually. Are they all decent carbs or are the smog year TQ junk?

I'm putting a 360 in my 71 valiant. What oil pans will fit? 318 car? 360 truck?

Thermoquad's carbs had a problem where the plastic section was mated to the aluminums top and base always leaking. But when they work they work well. You could just try it and see how it works, they still are a decent carb for a smoger.

The oil pan you will need is for a 360 car pan. 360 pans are different than 318 pans.

The earlier years are best for performance. Get a hold of Demon Sizzler for Thermoquad info. He just did one for me.

The oil pan will need to be from a 360 car. Truck pans wont work, neither will the 273-318-340 pans.
