quick question about carpet in a duster

Since i have a 4pt roll bar and i'm not putting in a rear seat, how far does the carpet go back? will i need more to cover up the area where the rear sent used to be?

Any car I've ever owned the carpet goes about 2 inches under the rear seat. So you'll want an extra couple of feet. So Yes, you'll want to cover that area up. Unless you dont want to. It is after all, your choice.

where could i get some of the same carpet without buying a whole other carpet kit?

Some of the carpet manufacturers (like ACC or Stock Interiors) will sell the material by the yard - something like 72"x36".
