The first club race at Firebird (Boise, Idaho) is today. I race with the local Mopar club. I can't wait to try my new setup. Hopefully my new drag radials will help me have a more consistant launch. I plan to use a 100hp nitrous shot this year. Should be fun and the weather is supposed to be very good today!

Nice! (Tapping fooot) Make sure you report back with da goods! Got a camrea?

I will take some pics of the action. There are some really nice mopars out there. I am hoping to run a faster this year. Best last year was 12.76 at 112mph with street tires (just idleing off the line) and the 100hp nitrous shot.

Goooood, getcha car into the 12 sec. thread...or maybe even the 11 sec thread?

I think I need to work on my nitrous/fuel mixture. No bottle heater with a high temp today of 50 degrees. Fuel pressure 8 psi. My Edelbrock nitrous manual says jet sizes based on 5.5 psi. Had about 6.5 last year when I ran the 12.76 on street tires.
There is a test and tune tomorrow. I plan to set fuel pressure at 7psi and timing retard at 4 degrees (set at 5 degrees today). Hopefully these changes will help my time and mph a little.
I took several pics, will post them soon.

The first three are my Scamp. The rest are a few of the other cars on the Mopar club team.
