Application is early seventies Nostalgia SS Race Hemi.
I know of the extra .001" that was recommended for the roller tappets to help at higher rpm, but want to know the total tappet to tappet bore clearance. Tappet bores are bushed...

Well, I have done some more digging now, and in the DC Racing Manuals from the mid seventies, .002 to .0025 is recommended... I´m going with that, but what do you say?

That sounds loose compared to regular clearances, so I would surmise it's about right.
