racers plz help my set up

well in the winter im gonna change my rear end gearing and tire size..just wanted a few pointers and opinions...
i have a 71 valiant eddy headed 408 power from 2500 to 6200 i have 3.91 gears and 26 inch tall tires...i want to go faster with out tearing apart my motor....i dont take it on the street ever...any body who has ant 2 cents plz let me have it....thanks fabo peeps

I ran a 29 inch tire with 4.30 gears in a 8 3/4,now running a 4.56 in a Dana.This dropped my 60fts from 1.50 to 1.44.I have a 408(410ci) in a 66 Dart.What times are you running now?What stall convertor?

Going to need to know whats done to the engine trany stall size what the car runs know and what the car weights is then we can help.

well it runs 11.90 tranny has 3500 stall 904 ..engine is 10.5 to1 comp eddy heads, hughes hyd cam 560 lift,all forged,launchfrom foot brake ...leaf spring and snubber..hooks perfect so i dont want caltracks yet...im in a debate to either dofferent gears or tires or 100 shot

id try 4.10 and a 28 " tall tire and see how that works.

Yes, and shift points and top rpm at the big end aka finish line.

just install the 100 shot and you should run about a second faster.
