And last class was open door slammer. For some reason my right rear brake locked up and it was almost a disaster...

OK, Jesse. I was there this past weekend. Watched from outside the fence.
What is your set up? Engine set up, trans and rear gear?
I could get you some very short sidewall 17in tires for ya, if you want them.
For free. Son in law has them. Should have less deflection in the sidewall.

I'm running a 358 ci SB with a built 904 and 5:13 rear gears....

You should have stopped in and said Hi...

They would be worth a try next year. I have about 43 hours into the set I currently run, I wasn't looking to build another set anytime soon lol... But less sidewall may work better...

Miss wisconsin is going to be here this coming weekend!!!
 
How many cars show up for things like this? Would be a fun weekend to watch.
 
We had 49 cars last weekend.. With Miss Wisconsin being there this coming weekend I'm thinking we'll have even more... The weather is supposed to be nice on Saturday too.....
 
I'll have to wait till next year. Only weekend I could make it.
My son in law was impressed by the way your car revs.
He said it makes rpm with no problem.
You run the same gears on the ashfalt? You run at Rock Falls don't you?

I ran at Rock Falls a long time ago when I had a stock headed 340 and the duster was pink lol...

These gears would work great on asphalt I think. I was running 104 in 2nd gear at the stripe...

Yeah it doesn't have any problem reving up:thumbup:
 
That aint right. Looks like fun and I thought I was crazy juming out of airplanes.
