Check it out... This is something I've been working on, on and off for the last couple of years. I'm finally nearing completion..

Those pictures are "functional prototype #2", I'm putting #3 together right now, it's about 1/3 the size of that board. When it's done it'll be encased in a small silver box with a 9 pin connector on the outside. I'm gonna finish testing it this season and will hopefully have it available for sale during the off season.

Neat idea and some nice work. :)

Thanks!

The plan is to sell it for somewhere around $200 for the software, cable and sensor device. Then you (the buyer) could either connect it to your own iPaq, can buy a new one, or pick one up on eBay. I got one for $35. The Tag units are more than twice the price of what this one will sell for, it'd be a good deal.

I wish I had known about that sooner. I bought a Computech system a couple months ago from the Crew Chief Pro guy. I got the upgraded one with the prediction program and a 110 wall wart so it can stay on all night as I didn't want to have to wait for it to sample to get weather readings.

Funny thing is though I don't use the prediction program because it's not as accurate as my own calculations.
