Radius shake

Just fishing for some opinions on engine movements/ radius shake . How much movement would there be with a 440 with Schumacher mounts ? I'm trying to place my Lokar trans dipstick grab end to the firewall and want to make there is enough slack for movement.

Just use a rubber or "flexible" mount so you don't have to worry about it??

I'd figure an inch, more or less... any more movement than that and your pass side exhaust manifold or header will be up against the inner fender anyways.

Or just make a bracket to mount it to the rear of the cylinder head or a valve cover bolt, so it just moves with the engine.

Went with plan B and what I had on hand . Flipped the mounting bracket over which gave me some more slack , put some nylon spacers and rubber washers behind the bracket . Bolted it all together, seems to be lots of slack . Thx for the suggestions though, appreciated.
