Hello everyone,

I am in need of a good clean, solid dash frame for my 1970 340 Swinger. It is a TX9 Black Velvet interior and exterior - rally dash, 340 4 speed car and need the correct dash frame :icon_smi: I would like the dash to have the hole for the reverse light. Any Help is greatly appreciated. This particular car is REALLY rare with these options and paint codes- with that said the better shape the dash the more money for you :icon_smi: Contact me here on A Bodies Only, or call me 740-742-0006 ask for Daryl.

you can also email me at mr_fomoco @hughes.net no Spaces LOL !

Whichever is best for you.

Best Regards
Daryl

70-2 abody is the same. You can also use the earlier 1 & fill in the ignition hole

Not trying to jack a thread but what's the difference between the (other then the look) turn knob and thumb wheel radios? Is one an am only and the other is am fm?

There were am/fm radios of both knob types.
The lower dash pads that were supposed to protect our knees caused a chain reaction of dash changes. The ashtray shape changed so the lighter was moved. The round knob radio wasn't user friendly so the thumb wheel was created.
Federal seat belt requirements meant no "kneeded" lower pads. Those other changes stayed with us.

And the earlier dash house could be used. The ignition switch bezel is a good location for a right mirror remote control wand.
