Are you saying there might be a date stamped on the wheels somewhere? I don't see it.
And if you are very interested I would be more than happy to dig out the other wheels, but they are buried.
I bought all four together as a set.

Date stamps are by valve stem on the outside of rim

Yes..stamped on rim by valve stem hole...its a code...year,plant,etc.

Thanks for posting the pics, I really appreciate it. As for your question (how to read the date codes), I'll defer to the experts. However, I did find a useful reference pic on www.wallaceracing.com. From what I understand, similar pics (maybe the same one?) have been roaming around the internet for awhile. Anyway, based on the images you posted, it looks like the wheels were made October 28, 1971. Only thing missing on the reference pic is the Chrysler logo. Looking for the experts to verify... If I'm right, it's too bad because I'm looking for early '70 wheels.

Yup. Actually, I was referring to the pic I posted -- it didn't have a Chrysler logo. The new pics you provided are a little clearer -- both wheels look like they are from 1974. Once again, looking for a defector ruling from one of the old salts...

If I'm not mistaken, those are the earlier style centers aren't they? The 72 and later had star shape like this
