Is there an easy way to tell if an under-dash wiring harness is for a standard dash or a rallye dash if you don't have a gauge cluster handy to try to match it up to?

The rallye dash harness should have a round plug for the gauge cluster.Standards should have a series of rectangular plugs.

Hmmm. Thanks! Does it look kind of like the magazine of a revolver?
If so, I guess I got one that came with a car I bought! I know a person looking for one.

Valiants also used the round plug (67 anyway), but the wires are different (at least some of them).

my cuda had a round revolver style plug behind the temp/amps/gas/oil guage and its not a ralley dash but i can take out the rally spot(replaced piece for where the tach should be) i though it was pretty cool.

I have several standard, non rallye dashes and a rallye dash. The plugs on both of them are the same. They are interchangeable. I just checked them to make sure. So, you can't tell them apart by the gauge plug. I'm trying to figure out which harness i have myself is why i'm interested.

Check the oil pressure circuit. There's not much else that would be different.
