Rapid Transit System Decals

I have been looking at some of the RTS decals on ebay, etc. Is there a specific design pertaining to certain years? (For instance, is there a design for a 1970 decal and a different design for a 1971 decal?) What about the one's that say "member" on them? Is there a story behind those? Does anyone know the original size of the decals? Where were these decals placed on the cars?

From the factory, there were no RTS decals.

So any that were made could have been put anywhere the car owner wanted to put them.

Yes, like this one. But is this the original size? There are also some that don't say "member". Performance Car Graphix has one that they claim to be all original in every way. It is only a 2"x2". Seems small to me.

They weren't too big.

I will go on a limb here. The decals were available from your Plymouth Dealer but were not affixed to cars as the "Scat Pack" Decals were. I believe 1971 is when they added the "Member" portion of the decal. I say this from examples from the catalogues of the day.
The first three photos are the 1970 catalogue and 1970 RTS Banner
The last two photos are from the 1970 catalogue

the scatt pack bee's were inside glass decals . sorry its hard to see through the glass , but its in the rear corner of this 71 tr challenger 340 auto air ps pb disc ralley pack chrome trim twin tag car and its fix'n parts .
