Hey guys. Just curious on the change to the big bolt pattern? I would like to find a 8 3/4 rear end but did they ever come with big bolt pattern and what vechicles would i find this in? Or is it cheapier or better to get a 8 3/4 and put in the axles? To do the change up on the drums to disc on a what type of donner car would i need and with the big patter? Is there a book with all the interable parts for a 67 dart? thanks!!

an a-body 8 3/4 never came big bolt.... for the front disc you need to find a 73 up a-body .

Thanks for the fast reply. So what type of donnor can i do to get the big bolt pattern or does it have to be an axle change?

you can redrill the small bolt axles.. i don't like to do it but there are tons of guys that do it... or you can look for a 73 - up a-body 8 1/4 rear... they are big bolt. they are good till 450 - 500 hp i guess.

For the front end you'll need to get them from a 73-76 A-body. I have 3 A-body 8 3/4 housings and plenty of 11" brakes too if that will help you.

hey thanks alot SGBARRACUDA but that would be a huge trip for me. I"m just on if it ber to find a 81/4 or is it better to find a 8 3/4 then have the axles cut and how much is it usually to have the axles cut down?

I have an 8 1/4 from an M bodycop car. It's not sure grip and it has hwy gears, butit does have large 11"drums and all brake hardware; you can have itP.M if interested
