Rear end sitting weird on leaf springs

Im reinstalling my 7.25 and one side sits flat but the other doesnt and when i lean it back to flaten the other side the straight side lifts up. Advice?

Are the housing mounting brackets indexed correctly on the spring pins?

Tighten it down. Springs have either a little rust in the packs or twisted a little after all these years. No big deal.

Just remember though, those nits are a low torque application. When you tighten them and straighten everything out, you will want to loosen them back off and finish torque them to the correct 45LBFT. Do the final torque with the weight on the suspension.

50/50 it sucks up and closes the gap with a little more oomph, or snaps one of the legs off the U-bolt and then it's 50 bucks for a new set.

All right so i wrenched down the bolts and it sat perfectly, I think its cause of the old leaf springs. Thanks guys, i was stressin lol.
