Hey all, Can leaf spring bushings be bought separately, or do you have to buy new springs? My rear bushings at the rear of the leaves are shot. Any info greatly appreciated. Car is 70 Duster 340

Most decent size towns have a business that rebuilds springs. I took mine into such a place and they slid new bushings in while I waited. Easy as pie and quite inexpensive. They also provided clamps that wrap around the spring leaves that I installed myself.

They make polyurethane versions of the rear shackle bushing, which will be more durable than OEM rubber. Search if Energy Suspension, Prothane, etc. have them separate, unless you want the whole leaf spring set.

x2 on the local spring shop. I brought mine in and it took all of 20 min before I had paid and was back on my way.

Hi all

What's the Mopar part number and the OD of these 70-71 Dart/Duster bushings?
Finding the shackle bushings is simple but I don't find a clear answer on internet about the front eye bushings...
:thankyou:

The Chrysler number is 2539127.
If you order the bushings from spring companies like Eaton, ESPO,etc. use number RB109.
Specifications for these bushing can be found on the internet by searching these numbers.

Thank you Mr Townsend for the part # :)

I took a moment to dive under my Demon and I measured the overall diameter of my front eye bushing.
Seems to be 1-1/2.
