A little update for anyone building or freshening their current engine. A while back I asked if anyone running a vacuum pump had ever tried installing their rear main seal facing rearward instead of forward. Had a couple of responses which is appreciated, but found that cometic makes a double lipped viton seal that is vastly superior to stocker. Part # C5683 for 340 crank. You will have to check yourself for 360.
