Rear spring perch widths 66-73 vs 76

I have info that the rear perch width for 66-73 a body is 43"

I am being offered one to put on my 1976 duster - My question is the mounting perches going to match up on my 76?

Are the Leaf springs the same distance apart in the 66-73 a bodys as it is in the 1976 a body?

Also should I just go with a 8 1/4 ready to go with big bolt or get the 8 3/4 and re axle shaft it? I have a basic 340 engine daily driver..... I know the 8 1/4 is fine...

cost and future plans
if your sticking with a stock 340, the 8 1/4 will do fine
but if your planning on installing a blower, or a stroker or whatever it makes no sense to spend money twice
