1970 Duster
Hey FABO, I'm looking for a recommendation.
Car is a 1970 Duster.
I have a Moser 8 3/4 with 489 case. I purchased a rear away bar but it appears that it will not work with the square shape and brackets on the Moser unit. When I mocked it up, it looks like the end link bars are not long enough to provide clearance for the sway bar around the back side of the housing. Also, with the brackets on the axle tubes, the u-bolts will not mount to attach the support/guide bushings.
Is there a sway bar recommended for this rear end? See pic below...
(Yeah, I know it's dirty. There's been a lot of dust in the shop lately. I plan on cleaning it all up. And, I know the wheels are too small for the disc brakes. The car sits on wheel dollies at all 4 corners to move around.)
Thanks for you help.
