Rear view mirror

Was wondering if anyone else had put a late model mirror in their car. I am going with one out of a tahoe so it will be self dimming and also has a built in compass. I know its a gm part in a mopar but theyre made by an outside company and I think it will be pretty cool.

I have been considering doing the same DD, My 66 rear view looks nice but does wobble a bit, a wider view would be nice. And she is my daily driver again. :happy10:

I like this idea DD, especially the compass 8). Guess you could pull power running the wires down the pillar molding to the fuse box?

I was thinking of this myself. I haven't been to the junkyard lately to look for what's available.

Thats what i,m gonna do C. Its all internal only needs power and a ground. Theres a third wire that dims it when you shift in reverse but I dont need that. I thought it would be a nice touch. Picked it up on ebay for less than 30. shipped.DD
