Rear window regulators

Does anyone have a formula for removing the rear window regulators? Do they slide out the top, or from inside the body? I will wait until I cut out the qtr panels if it come to that. Howard (70 Dart Swinger)

Those are not a lot of fun. I take the two "slide bars" (the front and rear vertical guides that the double rollers go on) out first. Not real simple, but it can be done. Then the regulator can be slid out of the window housing (there is also an arm on the regulator with a roller than goes into a bracket on the body). As I recall, they come out through the side.
