Probably need to either rebuild or replace my 225 Slant 6.

Too much blow by.

Anyone have thoughts or experience with which way to go?

Any recommendations of how to source an engine would be appreciated.

Thank you

I have a rebuilt Long Rod 225 if you have an interest please send me a PM with a phone number and we can talk thank you

I would consider buying a motor, rebuilding it then swapping the new rebuilt one for the one in the car. That way you might still be able to enjoy the car

On the /6 site check with reed. He had a fresh one with less than 500 miles on it for sale, engine went in and car got wrecked, so engine came back out, body to scrap. He's somewhere in Washington state

Call Randy McDowell in Ashland Ky, he is the best in the world! He can tell you exactly what you need. He worked for NASCAR for years and has owned his own engine building machine shop for 23 years, there is no one better. He built a /6 for me that is a beast. When I get the suspension finished I will post videos! He shop name is POWER TECH RACING ENGINES 606 928 3950 . You can friend him on FB if you like and talk to him there!
