I have a 69 dart 360 727 8 3/4 3.91 420hp
I planned on rebuilding a 727 this winter and buying a different converter but thinking a 4 speed with overdrive would be a lot more fun. (drive it to the track)
I get to the strip about three times a year but plan on moving closer in the next few years. (right now its a hundred mile drive) I've been reading a lot on what it takes to do the swap is it worth it? and how much cash am I looking to drop on something that's going to hold up.
So far I found a 76 aspen tranny for 250 bucks not sure if it comes with all the linkage or if the car is still there to get the crossmember.
Cutting the floor is no big deal (function over form). I found a kit for 250 bucks from brewers
(from the looks of it I could probably just call them but would like to hear some other suggestions)
