Remanufactured heads

Has anyone had good luck with reman heads from an online source? Ebay, Amazon, Allied, Clearwater Etc...this would be for a non performance application

J&S Enterprises in Fairmont WV has never gave me a bad head, he is so good the local NAPA uses him for a rebuilder.
He also sells on E bay.

All reman. stuff worries me because the quality is unknown. They can be very bad at times. I would prefer to spend a little more and have a local machine shop do them.
