removeing signal switch

Mine is toast.i have the coloum in the basement wheel off what is next to get at the signal light switch out.are all switches the same from different parts stores,are some made in China that i should stay away from.Thanksssssss

A while back I purchased a turn signal switch for around $55. It was a "Standard Motor" product. I believe it was made in america but not 100% certain. So far I have had no problems.

you have to un-pin the plug to be able to remove the switch,and then re-pin once you've fished the wires back through the bezel. There is a special tool for removing the wires from the plug. Hope this helps
