Removing valve body

I have a 727 in a 72 Dart and the valve body needs to come out, but I just can get a wrench on the bracket that the kickdown mounts to on the tranny. Has anyone ever managed to get the damn thing off without pulling the whole tranny?

use a rachet and extensions to get at that bolt...

I have never taken the trans out just to remove the valve body....

Like said should be able to get a socket on their. You may need to use a swivel joint.

On my 727 I could just remove a clip and have the block come out, instead of unbolting it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I used about 9" of extension and I could get my ratchet to a place where I could actually move it :headbang: Thanks again. Silly design on that one Chrysler :toothy9:
