When mine was at the glass shop for the rear window, I believe they used a tool that looks like the one with an arrow. It was tricky they and took some time because they didn't want to damage the paint.
I think they had to press down on the chrome trim pretty hard while pushing the tool under the trim where each body clip was.

This is what I used for my trim. You have to hook it just right and "roll" it. Something like that. It tok a few tries until I got it. Hope it helps. I bought this at NAPA, not too expensive.
