I have a set of BB manifolds, 289002 drivers side / 2863900 passenger side.

The drivers side has been repaired in 2 places:
1) next to one of the long bolt holes, but not the bolt hole itself.
2) about a 1 by 2 inch patch on the side next to the steering rod.

The repairs look like brass and they do not leak at all.

My question is, how good are these types of repairs?
I know the manifold is restrictive, and I am wondering if a repair would make it more restrictive?
It appears it will last as it was repaired many years ago.
Will the repair accept the same high temp manifold paint/coating?

Is there anything I should be concerned about?

I would replace it, but the prices recently went from ridiculous to ultra-super-ridiculous.

the repair will hold and last. as far as being restrictive? well the 1 inch by 2 inch patch could be, but it is hard to tell without seeing it. are you able to see in it or are they installed now? if you can look into it with a inspection mirror or an optical scope to see the repair. if nothing else seeing as you said that the prices are much higher now for replacements then i would just keep useing them unti lyou could see to get another pair. the paint or coating should stick just as good i would think if primed.

When they were off I could not see the inside, and the repairs follow the contours of the manifolds, meaning they look to be very well done.
On a similar subject, I met a guy who put wood stove paint on his manifolds and they look great.
