I recently bought a steel hood for my duster and I found a set off hinges on ebay which I purchased. I bought a new set of hood pins and I had order a dual snorkel scoop from AAR which I received on Friday. What I'm looking for now is replacement bolts from the hinge to the hood. Went to the junk yard friday, but everything was tore up or rusted bad. Been searching the web and finding nothing. Also is their a stardard size clip to hold the hinge to the car? Thanks for any help. Jerry

The push-on nuts can be found at most local auto stores in various sizes. I`m not sure what size you`d need, I`d guess 5/8". If somebody knows the size please chime in here. Are you putting the car back to original and therefore need to have the original style bolts for the hood to hinges connection? If not just buy 4, 5/16 x 1 hex head bolts with flat washers. HTH.

Thanks longgone I knew someone would have an answer. This has to be the best website yet. thanks again Jerry

Thanks Doug,......so there you are Jerry, the push nuts are 1/2", you can probably find them in the HELP section at your local auto parts store.
