A lil help mopar peeps...looking to replacing my quarters on my Duster, what's the good and bad on Goodmark metal? I know their price is good just don't know of anybody using them

The metal is thin on them,i always use there stuff.Take your time when welding or they warp and buckle bad.

This may not exactly answer your question, but you will find that AMD is worth the price difference for the quality, particularly if you are replacing quarters.

AMD 1970 dusters quarters are crap.Your are better of repairing the original ones if you can.

All my Duster needs is a Lower patch on the Pass Quarter. AMD is 150 for a new Piece, Goodmark is 100....Goodmark gets my vote.

a lower patch??? get some 18 ga sheetmetal ( from a real steel co) for $5 and fab your own. if not,,,, buy the cheapest patch, and cut and make it work.

I was reading not long ago where guys bodyman was trying to use AMD full quarter on a B body, forgot what model. supposedly stamped on Mopar old dye,( in China no doubt!?????),,,,
but a bodyline was of 1/2 inch, the guy had to split it, fill it to make it work!!!
sorry, but if I had paid that $$$ for the quarter, shipping, then have to pay the body guy to make it RIGHT, I would have pooped in my drawers!!!!! or if I had to do the work at least did a lot of cussing!?????

My shop mixed and matched AMD and Goodmark. Inner and outer fenders are AMD and quarters are Goodmark. Trunk extensions are AMD. So where 'fit' was VERY important it is AMD. It came together very nice. He did not like the Goodmark patches and went with the full quarters.
