Okay...here's the deal with me...I like classic muscle cars, and I own a 74 dart swinger...BUT!...

My knowledge for mechanical systems in these cars is LOOOOOWWWW! A total dummy haha. Yes most of you are the experiened techs. And im just an 18 yr old starting in the whole biz.

NOW...what are good online resources where I can learn the basics of these cars, overviews of them. For example...I was just borwsing the BRAKE FORUM and found out about people converting drum brakes to disk brakes and all that nice stuff, but my vocabulary for the parts mentioned and of the whole brake system is weak!!!

WHAT ARE THE RESOURCED FOR MY BEGINNER SELF! HAHHA

I wasnt lucky enough to grow up with a dad or family member who knew and liked car mechanics.

PLEASE PROVIDE ME WITH SOME LINKS OR BOOKS LOL!!!

Welcome,I'm an old newby and my Dad did the right thing at an early age(had me do the brakes on a 67 Polara (front drums)....You learn quick!
For a start,go to www.allpar.com

Roadsters is a favorite of mine. If you can't find the link or topic your looking for here, you don't need it.

This is mostly a photo archive, but it's too cool NOT to include.

WOW! Link mania!

Books, Factory service manuals for your car. MoPar performance engines and chassis books. A subscription to MoPar Muscle and others....

Ask plenty of questions on line, get plenty of pictures on line and from your own canmera. Start taking pictures from start to finish! This way you'll remember later.
