Is it a good idea to reuse pushrods or get a new set. When I picked up the set Magnum heads I also took the pushrods. Can I reuse them or just get new ones. They cost about $130 for a set and thought I would save a few $$$'s by resuing the old ones.

Check the ends for bad wear and roll them on a flat table top-if any are bent you will see it right away. I don't see any reason you cant use them over as long as they are the right length for your application and not damaged.

As long as the oil passages are clean, and they are in good condition, you can re-use them.

I found a cheap set from Summit!

They are 5/16 and 7.650" in length and have the oil passage.

Are these OK??

$76.00 isn't cheap in my book, especially if there's nothing wrong with the ones that came with the heads. like everyone else has said, if there straight and not galled up on the end, reuse them. I would coat both ends of the pushrod with assembly lube during assembly to help during the first minute or so of fire up. Spend your $76.00 dollars on some other performance item. My .02.

If they ain't bent or the tips worn there's nothing wrong with them and to replace them would be a waste of money. :evil2:
