[Found!] RIGHT SIDE FRESH AIR VENT

I’m currently working on my 72 Dart and I’m doing an heater delete. However, I want to retain the fresh air vent on the right side, which is normally incorporated with the Heater box on our American made cars. I was wondering if I could use a right side fresh air vent off an Australian market car or Mexican car with heater delete. if anyone has one, or another solution please hit me up.

Not yet, I was going to start looking into that for sure.

The door would operate backwards but it might work with some mods. Hack up that heater box and get creative with some fiberglass.

Those vents are out there, just need to find one...
Probably quicker and cheaper just to mod a driver's side vent with the door and outlet from a junk heater box. Just a 'lil bit of fiberglass work...

Well it will fit pretty well.

But I agree...

Cut off the heater vent.

But the heater vent attached with the j hook so once the heater is cut off you would need to figure a way to keep it from rotating

Maybe a second J hook?

Get that left side vent good and clean along with the body and a good dose of butyl ribbon and some good upward pressure, you'd be hard pressed to remove it.

Very hard part to find, took me 10 years to get a good one and had to pay up bigtime for it!
