RIP: Ray Manzarek

I can't believe he's gone!! The first time I heard the Doors I was just back from Vietnam and hooked up with a crazy lady!! Wild times!!
 
Just read about it a little while ago. RIP.
 
Perhaps there is a reunion going on right now. I hope so.

They've been one of my favorite bands ever since the summer of 67 and Light my fire was all over the radio all summer.

I was a Doors fan from the start. I remember working in a grocery store as a teenager and singing "People are Strange" in the stock room with another stock boy. RIP Ray, you will be missed!
 
Our local news did a piece on him today, a great keyboardist, bass player and writer
and like many here the doors was always in my 8 track and cassette case
R.I.P. Ray, and thank you for all the great times you gave us as we worked and played.
 
2 weeks on the road and now I\m catching up.

Each time one of these rock pioneers goes away, so does a little part of my past.
