rocker arm question

Hey guys I got some rhs heads on the way from Hughes engines. I am gonna run these heads on a circle tracker and turn it 6500-6700. Rules state I can run roller tip rockers but they have to be steel only. The cam I'm getting from Hughes is around 560 lift. I'm new to this site but seen on a post where the comp steel rockers dont have good geometry with the rhs heads. Is it true the ss prw rockers have good geometry with these heads?? Would these rockers hold up circle tracking? I guess I just don't wanna go spend $4-500 on rockers and find out they won't work on my heads or wont hold up. All the help I can get is truly appreciated!
 
Do you have magnum style head/rockers or LA style. I have RHS Magnum head on my 5.9L and use Racer Brown rockers w roller tips. Had to put a 5/32 shim under the rocker stands to get right tip contact. The combo works great.
 
I am running the LA RHS X Heads on my TT Engine. Mine are from Brian at IMM Engines. I am using the PRW 1.6 Stainless Rockers on mine and the Sweep/Geometry is right on the money. My spring pockets have been cut on and set up for a .650+ Lift Solid Roller Cam. It all depends on how Hughes sets them up as to how the sweep & geometry will turn out no matter what Rocker Arm you use.
 
I guess I had no idea they sold them...I looked on their website and didn't see any stainless rockers and figured they didn't have any. I will call and ask
 
holy crap. they did go up...WTF?? when I got a set 2 years ago, yea they were $285, like you say...no way ima pay full retail for a chinese rocker. damn slant eyes are catchin on...
 
Talked to Dave at Hughes...he said they don't sell any steel rockers for the la engine. He recommended to not buy any Chinese rockers. So idk what the heck to do...hate to buy comp and they not work....

Yeah and that's quite a bit higher than they were when they first came out. A buddy of mine bought a set for $225 shipped about 3 to 3-1/2 yrs. ago when they first appeared.

Normally I totally agree with not buying Chineese but a buddy of mine is running a set of PRW's on Eddy heads and the geometry was spot on and they have held up good to his fairly aggressive Bullet cam for 3 yrs. of hard running. Don't know where you buy your parts but if you buy from Summit they have a good return policy if you want to try Comps and they don't work. I've bought a couple things from them that didn't work and sent them back with the included return label and got a 100% refund. Just a thought.
