Rocker arm shafts assembly

Ok i know the rocker arm shaft is suppost to be notch - drivers side front, passenger side rear but does the notch face downward for upward. Some one please help so i can get these things on tonight.

The notches should be down.....I believe that put's the oil holes up top, where they need to be.

OK if the oil holes need to be up top then the notch is up top also is that correct cause my notches and oil hole are on the same side. These shafts are so confusing, LOL.

yep, your right, Just looked at some shafts that are out. Holes are on the bottom. sorry for the confusion.

Ok just for one last run throw drivers side front, passenger side rear notches at the bottom oil holes also at the bottom.

Yes, That should do it, I usually do a visual on the oiling just to make sure everything is good before buttoning up the valve covers. Just don't rev it until the covers are on.
