Had the rocker mouldings straighten and polished earlier this summer. Decided to paint them this weekend. Took a while but was worth it.

Looks good! What type of argent paint did you use for the recessed areas? I need some for my hood call-out's, trunk trim, and headlight & grill bezels, if it's all the same.

I used a paint called "Hammerite" its for use as a paint for balcony rails and such. Don`t need any primer before painting. It`s made in England.
Don`t know if you got this in the US
I applied it with the same brush as the pinstriping guys use, I did put on a rather thick coat to fill the pitted areas.
I treated my -67 hood call-outs the same way, but they are different compared to a -68.
As for my grille it`s painted with a spray can with a color called "titanium argent" ,it says that it`s ment for rims. Turned out pretty good.
I`ll try to post a close-up pics of it later.
